We’ll make it “common sense” both in business and humans.
If you ever thrown a party , you know the dread of the cleanup and dishes afterwards. Imagine the cleanup costs these events have, unless they kindly request for the cups to be returned or a “trade your old cup” be needed to order a new drink.
Also, if you dont cleanup after you walk your dog, well technically is your street, and you’ll be out there again, and guess what? You might step onto something your past self left there, so why wouldn’t you clean up after yourself, for your future self?
I mean you could also look at the world cup videos of the Japanese cleaning the stadium after themselves. If we work together theres less to clean and less to worry about
I think most dog owners in my neighbourhood spend very little time on their future selfs. Or neighbours for that matter… :(
I used to have a neighbour who would always pick up random trash from the street (like fast food containers) and toss it in the bin. He was leading by example, I try to do the same now. It’s not my trash, but it is my street.
This is indeed super encouraging!! I also thought this recently when I realized that it’s been years since I had to say “No thanks, I don’t need a bag” when buying something in a shop — now they ask if you want a bag and, if you do, they charge you for it! Oh, and it’s paper, not plastic. (This is in Switzerland, I don’t know what it’s like in other places?) Little by little…
Oooh, in the US, I would say ‘no bag please’ and still get a bag most of the time. Now I’m in the Netherlands and most bags are paper and paid as well. We’ll get there!
Thank you for this one! I tend to be pessimistic and I need help seeing the good things happening.♥️🩷♥️
Me too! I was reminded yesterday and wanted to share for exactly that reason.

Thanks for the reminder! I honestly had forgotten about them.
Haha! You’re welcome! :)
