OH MY GOSH this is phenomenal in TWO ways. ONE, I love hearing from the person who inspires you. You tell her story so well and I was following along at every step. TWO, I completely saw myself in Antonia! She's like 100 steps ahead of me (!) but when I was reading the book, "The Future Earth" by Eric Holthaus, I just kept thinking that I *needed* to be hosting monthly climate-action dinners at my house, and build a coalition of neighbors who are DOING SOMETHING. I haven't yet (eek!), but this is absolutely inspiring me to keep finding my footing in the climate action mountain-climbing we all must do!
I LOVE your idea for monthly climate-action dinners! Thinking of your Hygge party I'm sure you would do great. But if you're nervous, you can always start with one.
Have you read Saving Us by Katharine Hayhoe by any chance?
Great, that's what I'm going for. It so often seems like there's only bad news, but there are so many people doing incredible work. I want to highlight them, so people feel inspired and hopeful.

I just got Eric Holthaus' book from the library.
I'm so glad you like Antonia's story!
Thank you!! This is great, accessible and inspiring 👏
Thank you so much!!
So helpful to get ideas and other ways to act and interact. Definitely makes the task seem a bit more possible!
