The worst draft...

and how I turned the story around.

Every now and then, I make a comic strip for a Dutch magazine called ‘Tina’. I came up with two characters. Rei and Lieve (‘Lieve' is Dutch for ‘sweet’, but is also an actual name). Due to Lieve’s anger issues and Rei’s overly positive nature, they keep getting into trouble and have already accidentally wrecked a laptop, phone and television. Because they have to pay for that, they need money, which is not easy when you’re only twelve years old…

Below, I will show a rather embarrassing first draft and all the steps I took to create this story. This is for paid subscribers only.
