Starting a brand new comic

As I mentioned before, I was asked to do a couple of comic pages for a Dutch magazine called Tina. The readers are girls aged 7-12.

I read a few issues and noticed there is some diversity but little Asian representation. So I came up with this character called Rei.

Then I started thinking. Who is she, what story can I tell about her? I’ve noticed before…
