When people say they feel reborn after a vacation, are they referring to that feeling as though someone applied a suction cup to the top of your head and yanked you back into the real world?
If so, I feel reborn!
I look brand new as well. It started with a tango workshop that ended in a tango performance that couldn’t be done with bare lips, obviously. I borrowed a lipstick and noticed that a little dab of color improved my appearance by roughly 80%.
Crazy, right?
When I went shopping for my very own lipstick for the first time in twenty-six years, I decided to do something about the cheeks as well, but I had questions.
So many questions!
Now I didn’t spent six weeks improving my face. I also had a haircut and some highlights. And I sculpted a rotting fish, finally read the Rosie project, knitted half a sweater plus some baby socks, saw the Barbie movie and - with the help of my 13 year old - dug a hole in the backyard that will soon be a pond.
After all of that, I’m having a hard time switching over to color profiles and project numbers, paper types and binding options, but I did manage to submit the artwork for my book to the printer! If you spent the summer regretting not buying my book during the crowdfunding campaign, reply to this email to place your order and I will print an extra book, especially for you. If you did get a copy, know that I’m working on getting it to you ASAP.
How was your summer? Did you do something out of the ordinary?
With love,
