Last week, I shared the first half of the travelogue I made during our family trip to Italy (click below in case you missed it).
A holiday
Did you miss me? I didn’t post last week because I was busy staying alive on the windy mountain roads in Tuscany. It’s hard work, but worth it (both the staying alive and Tuscany). I did make a comic almost every day, but the sharing part had to wait until now. I’ll do it in two instalments, because who has time for emails that take more than a few minutes to read? I certainly don’t after a two week vacation! That’s why I’m differing from my regular schedule; in stead of sharing some thoughts on climate action like I usually do on Thursdays, you’re getting these comics about my trip. May it feel like a small holiday in your inbox.
Here’s part two.
Starting next week, my plan is to send my daily comics on Tuesdays to paid subscribers and a comic/essay on climate action every other Thursday. This is a very busy month for me and I have to finish a comic for a kid’s magazine in a piece of drawing software I haven’t used in ages and it’s causing a lot of rage a learning process, BUT gives me the cleaner look the client asked for.
What do you think? Quite different than the comic journals, isn’t it?
This story, by the way, is about guerrilla gardening. The girls decide to do something about their boring street and unexpected things happen! I’ll share it once it’s done :)
With love,
You are making me feel better about living in Australia- I can google images cathedrals too! 😂
BTW: Miss the hand drawn quickness of your regular sketches.
