Crafting with Kids

and some other scary things...

I love to make things. I enjoy digging my hands in wool or fabric or dough.

However…

… you won’t often find me having a Pinterest worthy creative experience with my kids.

Sometimes, my sense of guilt pushes me in unlikely directions and I find myself Googling scary things like: ‘quick and easy DIY Halloween decorations’.

I told myself we were going to keep it very simple and showed my six year old son how to draw a simple ghost.

He often tells me he ‘can’t draw’, so I wondered if he’d be able to do this.

I thought that maybe I should draw the outlines and he could add the faces.

He totally kicked my ass.
