Before I started my daily comic journals, I was already drawing occasional cartoons about my life. It started when I became a mother as a way of processing all the weird stuff that was happening..
It shouldn’t come as a surprise, that I made quite a few about sleep (or rather, lack of sleep.)
When I started drawing dailies, almost six years ago, this was a recurring subject as well...
… although the reasons for laying awake at night did change as the kids grew older.
I made a tiny twelve page booklet with comics that you can print and assemble in less than fifteen minutes. It makes a cute gift that you can send in the mail!
To received your booklet, sign up for my newsletter for free.
If you’re already subscribed but can’t find the email, just shoot me a message and I’ll send you the link.
Before you print, make sure to set your printer at 100% and DON’T print on both sides of the paper.
I would love to see your booklet on Instagram. Tag me @betje_com and you might win a stack of postcards!
I will draw a winner every week between now and the moment the crowdfunding of my book ‘5500 Miles of Comics’ launches! If you haven’t already, make sure to leave your email over on Zoop, so that you don’t miss out!
With love,
I enjoy your work. Thank you.
