Baking a cake in someone else's kitchen?

How it's going with my book

I blame it on the Black Friday deals, I resisted so many of them, but on Cyber Monday the 50% off the Affinity suite got me. I’m working on my graphic novel and it needs to be done by februari first. Apparently, it’s going well enough for me to think I have room to experiment with different software, but’s like making your signature cake in someone else’s kitchen. You know what to do, but it takes forever to find anything. You discover some people don’t have the tools you can’t live without and in the end, the oven doesn’t work the same and your usually delicious cake is toast.

So I’m back at good old Adobe InDesign.
