REMINDER: It’s the very last day to get your copy of 5500 Miles of Comics!
When I started doing comic journals, I wanted to cover it all: the funny and not so funny…
The significant moments…
…and silly stuff.
I ended up drawing about 1700 pages of comics. When I selected the ones for this book, it struck me - again - how much my drawings improved along the way.
I purposefully kept some of the older ones. This book is not about showing perfection, it’s about telling an honest story. My growth as a cartoonist is part of that.
One thing I didn’t expect when I drew my first few pages almost six years ago, is that this would eventually become a book!
I just went through my own graphic novel collection to see what kind of paper they used, particularly for the cover. We’re going over our funding goal by a bit and I want to put that money towards a really good looking book that feels nice. It’s so exciting to think about this!
And it’s not too late to join, the crowdfunding ends today though, so don’t delay if you’d like one!
With love,
Hahaha - the ATCHOO one! :D
